Types of building materials

Building materials refer to various materials used in construction projects. There are various types of building materials, roughly divided into: (1) inorganic materials, which include metal materials (including black metal materials and non-ferrous metal materials) and non-metal materials (such as natural stone, baked earth products, cement, concrete, and silicate products). (2) Organic materials include plant-based materials, synthetic polymer materials (including plastics, coatings, adhesives), and asphalt materials. (3) Composite materials, including asphalt concrete, polymer concrete, etc., are generally composed of inorganic non-metallic materials and organic materials.
